How to Use
Plug into power socket. Using the temperature selection buttons, select your desired temperature setting and your desired fan speed setting. For your protection, your muk® Ultra Sonic Dryer is equipped with an automatic overheat protect, and will switch off automatically if overheating occurs. To continue use after shut off, simply unplug and
allow the dryer to cool for 5 minutes. Selecting the appropriate temperature
Your muk® Ultra Sonic Dryer has fully adjustable temperature control settings. The adjustable settings allow you to select the temperature that works best for your
individual hair type and condition.
Gently detangle wet / damp hair with wide tooth comb (Deep muk Ultra Soft Leave-In Conditioner is recommended to assist with detangling). Prepare hair with your chosen muk foundation styling product and Hot muk Thermal Protector spray. Choose the appropriate fan and heat speed – based on the texture, density (amount of hair) and condition of the hair (refer to guide). If changing the fan and heat settings push the on / off button all the way up. To lock the chosen settings in place, move the on / off
button to the mid setting. For Smoothing and Volume: Dry the hair until 80% of the moisture has been removed. Use a section clip to remove excess hair. Start from
underneath holding the dryer above the section, begin blow waving using your brush of choice (i.e. round brush, paddle brush). Hold the dryer approximately 5cm from the section with air blowing in a downwards direction. When section is completely dry, set it in place by using the cool shot button ie. hold over section for 3 seconds – this will ensure style longevity.
Continue working section by section until all the hair is dry and style is complete. Tousle the hair with fingers or comb through with a wide tooth comb. Finish with either: 1 – 2 pumps of Hot muk Smoothing Serum distributed into palms and then applied to the hair (for smoothing) OR Hot muk 6 in 1 Working Spray (for texture and hold).
For Curls and Natural Drying: Remove the nozzle and attach the diffuser. Hold dryer under the hair and move the diffuser prongs into the curls / wave to encourage drying and curl formation. Continue until the hair is completely dry. Finish with 1 – 2 pumps of Hot muk Smoothing Serum distributed well into palms and then applied to the hair
to define the curls / wave.
